Frenchman being the first to start recording their cuisine in written records gave them an upper hand in mastering these skills. French desserts are always better when compared to any other desserts produced in any corner of the world. Students of FHTM got a chance to learn about french pastry when chef Astik Oberoi from the academy of pastry arts India displayed his skills. Chef Astik Oberoi presented “PETIT ANTOINE” which is a modern french pastry flavored with hazelnuts and milk chocolate. The students got a chance to see how the pastries are made as well as how beautifully he gave the finishing touches. The workshop was really informative. We look forward to more such workshops which are coming soon in the near future by Academy of Pastry Art as well as many others.
