Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management had a workshop on the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), at ambrosia restaurant on 28th August 2019. FSSAI has approved URS Certification to carry out Food Safety and Hygiene Rating Audits in India. Ms. Sandhya and Ms. Megha, Trainer from URS Certification have conducted the training. It was an interactive session on food handling procedures, cleanliness standards and possible hazards in Kitchens. A short written exam was also conducted for the students. Certificates will be provided accordingly to the students.
