Faculty of Hotel & Tourism Management organized ‘ITALIAN CULINARY WORKSHOP on April 11, 2016 presented by celebrity Chef Manoj Rai.
Chef Rai, was awarded “Chef of the year” and “Face of Future India” by Hospitality Congress in 2015. He brilliantly played with ingredients like thyme, basil, cilantro, rosemary, and parsley in a charming way in order to obtain intriguing combinations of flavors which result in a unique experience, intensifying to the full every single ingredient to satisfy any palate. BHM students participated in this workshop which in turn was an opportunity for them to learn and interact with culinary expert gaining deeper knowledge in Italian gastronomy. Chef Rai dished out a 5 course menu comprising of Pumpkin Risotto, Mustard Marinated Chicken Breast, Tagliatelle Ortolona, Minestrone Melanese Soup, and Crostini Di Funghi which were wholesome, healthy and exotic. The students had an interactive session with chef to quench their thirst in observing more information about the cuisine.
